Why I don’t blog

Ok, so I am supposed to be blogging at least once a week and posting it on my website. Why, you ask, am I not blogging. The simple answer, I have no idea what to blog. A blog should be timeless. A resource that will last for year. Our style is humor so the blog is supposed to make you laugh. The blog is to look effortless and the author should research the subject of the blog. I am supposed to be┬ádisciplined, focused, and productive and come up with a 1,000 word blog every week. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a person of few words. But, there is always something going on in my head. The only time I think of humorous things is when I am with my sister or my girl friends. Then we laugh so hard we cry. We say some of the silliest things and just roll over with laughter. Why can’t I express some of that humor in a blog? My sister and I ┬áput some of the funny stories in our book “Rainbow’s End”. They make me laugh every time I read them. I will have to get together with my sister and girl friends more often. They bring out the best in me.

I am up to 213 words now!! I will never make it to a thousand. Maybe I should tell a really long joke. Ok, here is the joke of the day.

After dying in a car crash, three friends find themselves at an orientation to enter heaven. Each one was asked, “When you are in your casket, what would you like to hear your friends and family saying about you?” Sean says, “I would like to hear them say I was a great doctor and a great family man.” Karl says, “I would like to hear them say I was a wonderful husband and an excellent teacher who made a difference in children’s lives.” Juan says, “I would like to hear them say, ‘Look! He’s moving!'”
That got me up to 338 words. Oh well, Rome was not built in a day. I will try to do better next time. I will let Jane give it a shot next time!
Laugh loud and often. Keep in touch with your friends and family. Show them and tell them you love them every day. Be honest and sincere. Help someone in need.
